MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care is offering a Interprofessional Series Webinar  to help providers with this challenging situation: A 71-year-old man with Class IV CHF, declining function, and no documented goals or advance directives.

The purpose of this webinar is to expand knowledge of the palliative management of advanced congestive heart failure.

Objectives:

  1. Implement strategies for management of common symptoms in congestive heart failure
  2. Develop approach to discussing advance directives and goals of care in heart disease
  3. Identify indicators of end stage heart disease and supportive resources for patients and families
