NHPCO launches podcast

The new podcast from the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization will connect listeners with experts and leaders in hospice and palliative care with pertinent discussions about timely issues facing the field today.

In the inaugural episode, “OIG Report on Election Statements and Certification,”Judi Lund Person and Jennifer Kennedy offer their insights on the latest OIG report (September 2016) on election statements and certification. The discussion focuses on the requirements for the components of the election statement as well as the elements of the election statement. Importantly, they talk about ways to ensure that hospice providers stay compliant and mentioned available resources.

The NHPCO podcast will be released the first and third Tuesdays of the month with special episodes reflecting “breaking news” topics.

Episode 2 will be released on October 18 and will focus on The Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities Final Rule.”

The podcasts are available free-of-charge to any listeners and can be found on the NHPCO website and soon will be available for download at iTunes, GooglePlay, and Stitcher.
