The next Project ECHO Session offered by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization will be on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. ET. Join colleagues in the field in knowledge share through the April Project ECHO session that is focused on music therapy – a unique, integrative modality leading to healing benefits during end of life.
Music therapy is not just a musical activity, but an evidence-based intervention that involves a customized plan of treatment geared towards addressing the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of those on the hospice and end of life journey. In the case study, presenters and subject matter experts will discuss the care of a pediatric patient admitted to home hospice and the collaboration between the hospice team, the hospital medical team, and the family all while giving the child a voice through the use of music therapy.
