The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Awards (AAHPM) and Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) awards have been announced, and will be presented at the Annual Assembly taking place 13 – 16 March 2013.
A full list of the winners is now available to view along with a schedule of the assembly.
Winners include Christie S. Ritchie, whose AAHPM PDIA Palliative Medicine National Leadership Award, and Patricia Berry, who was awarded the DIstinguished Career Achievement Award.
An award has also been given to professionals in training from the University of Texas Health Science Centre and the South Texas Veterans Health Care System for their research on YouTube as a Palliative Care Source of Information to the World.
