The conference is being held between 12 and 14 November 2014 in Nairobi.
Since 2008, KEHPCA has been holding a national palliative care conference biennially, bringing together experts, caregivers, patients, policy makers and many others to share experiences and deliberate on hospice and palliative care issues.
The theme of this year’s conference will be ‘Palliative care is everyone’s business’, highlighting the fact that everyone will come into contact with palliative care at some point in their lives, whether as a patient, carer, family member, neighbour or friend.
Abstract categories, and details of how to submit, are available on the conference website. The deadline for submission for oral presentation and workshop abstracts is 31 July 2014 while submission for poster abstracts closes on 31 August 2014.
