Palliative care and Universal Health Coverage survey

Categories: Research.

Momentum is building on UHC globally and it is likely to play a significant role in the development of health care.

We want to find out the situation in your countries including the extent to which hospice and palliative care is included within the discourse and activities.

WHO’s definition states that ‘Universal Health Coverage (UHC) means that all people receive the health services they need without suffering financial hardship when paying for them.

The full spectrum of essential, quality health services should be covered including health promotion, prevention and treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care.

There are only 18 questions and the survey will only take about 10 minutes maximum. The results will be utilised for a report on UHC and palliative care by the WHPCA to be published later this year.

The deadline for completing the survey is 13 November 2014.

You can access the survey online

Thank you in advance.
