Hear directly from your colleagues on how they are supporting patients and staff in a manner that actively resists traumatization or re-traumatization. Faculty Diane Snyder Cowan, CHPCA, MA, MT-BC; Carla Cheatham, MA, MDiv, PhD, TRT; and Barbara Ganzel, PhD, LMSW will share specific guidance for leaders to manage today and prepare for tomorrow.
• WHV and VA Trauma-Informed Care Webinar, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. ET
This session is part of We Honor Veterans’ collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve the care of Veterans on hospice that have been impacted by trauma. Faculty Kandyce Powell, Executive Director of Maine Hospice Council and Center for End of Life Care, and Carol A. Luhrs, MD, Director, National VA GEC Implementation Center and Chief of Hematology/Oncology, Brooklyn Campus, VA-New York Harbor HCS will dive into Veteran-focused trauma-informed care.
