A change in leadership at St Christopher’s

Jan Noble will step in as acting CEO

After almost two and a half years leading St Christopher’s we say goodbye to Helen Simmons, our CEO.

During her time at St Christopher’s Helen has put in place a strategy to reduce inequalities in end of life care across south east London, which the team are committed to progressing. We are thankful to Helen for her contribution and wish her well for the future.

The search is now underway to find an inspirational new CEO to lead the hospice. Until that time, Jan Noble will step in as acting CEO, supported by our exceptional Executive Team and Board of Trustees.

Jan has worked at St Christopher’s for 24 years, most recently as Director of Quality and Innovation, and brings both passion and extensive knowledge and expertise to the role.

Jan says: “St Christopher’s has been a big part of my life for many years. Joining as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and leading a variety of teams. I feel hugely privileged to lead this outstanding organisation and, alongside colleagues, St Christopher’s will continue to deliver the exceptional care and support we are known for.”
