We are a group of researchers based at the Montreal Palliative Care Institute. We plan to begin an international multicenter study in 2025 in order to develop and validate a software application to facilitate the prediction of the short-term prognosis of patients with terminal cancer or other end-of- life pathology.
We recently published an article on this subject (Bouchard et al, J. of Pall. Med. July 2024, Vol 27(7):895-904) and we would like to collaborate with researchers in various countries who work in palliative care or with terminally ill patients.
Objective:
To develop a tool that will be used to make predictions during the last 4 weeks of life.
