Full time including some evening & weekend work

We are seeking a Co-ordinator to join a well-established palliative care (hospice) bereavement service supporting some 400 people in Oxfordshire each year.

The post-holder will take a central role in the day to day work of the service, managing referrals and co-ordinating a large team of volunteer bereavement support workers including their training and supervision. The post holder will have a small clinical caseload, be involved in group work and take an active part in developing innovative ways of responding to a wide range of needs. S/he should have a qualification in counselling, social work or psychology together with a commitment to working with volunteers and an interest in education and evaluation.
