Trinity Hospice’s thriving network of 24 shops are highly successful and a vital source of income. With an expected turnover this year of £3.9 million, all the profit from the shops company goes straight to Trinity. This contribution means that we can continue to ensure that people at the end of life have access to our expert services, either at home or as an inpatient.
All Trinity’s shops are aiming to be at the leading edge of charity retailing. We want to change the way people think about charity retailing. We are aiming to create exciting and well presented shops with each one being unique and designed to suit the customer base of the local area.
We are currently looking for a Chair of the Board Trinity Hospice Shops Limited who will also be a Trustee on the main Trinity Hospice Board. We are looking for people with extensive retail experience within a national high street arena with some understanding of charity retail. In the next three years we have plans to grow the company to 30 shops and increase our contribution to Trinity Hospice to £1.5 million.
This voluntary, non executive position offers a unique opportunity to make an important contribution to our ambitious plans.
