Salary: Starting at NHS Band 8 B. Full time.
This is a new role designed to lead hospice care services through major transition and development, from the current services and facilities to expanded services in the community and at the new hospice currently under construction in Hillington, West Norfolk. Being able to see the big picture whilst shaping end of life care and supporting those with long term palliative conditions are essential elements of the role.
For the right candidate this role will also deputise for the Chief Executive with great career development prospects.
The candidate will be expected to have experience in the management of a Hospice Care Service, or similar palliative care services, where hospice ethos and high standards prevail with patients and their families being put at the centre of decisions made.
Norfolk and the Fens is one of the last remaining areas of England that does not have a full hospice service, and with a population in excess of 300,000, it is the largest. We are now ready to address this, come and be part of our team.
