Fish & Chips Friday

Categories: Community Engagement and People & Places.
We were absolutely delighted when Bell’s Fish & Chips delivered over 50 portions of fish & chips to be enjoyed by all at St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
Patients, guests, volunteers and staff were able to grab a box and have a well deserved treat.

The first Friday in June is always ‘National Fish & Chip Day’ and we certainly celebrated it today. We really were blown away by the generosity of this fabulous North East business.
Helping us to make fabulous memories for all who we are caring for today 💚

The first week of June also marked Volunteers Week, a time to celebrate the army of volunteers who help us each and every day. We simply couldn’t deliver the compassionate care that we are known for without our volunteers.

Did you know our oldest volunteer is 94 and our youngest is 14? Proving that volunteering is for all ages! Volunteers can give as little or as much time as they want and can be flexible with the frequency too.
