This guide is aimed at workers and employers who work with children and young people with moving and handling needs and is intended to offer a common-sense, practical approach that reflects current children’s rights legislation, manual handling and health and safety regulations.
The guide was jointly produced by The Scottish Government and Capability Scotland, in consultation with the office of Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People and the HSE.
