Salary: Band 2 – £15,236 – £16,374 p.a. pro rata; Band 3 – £17,213 – £18,736 p.a. pro-rata; Includes 5% fringe London Weighting and unsocial hours payment
Princess Alice Hospice is a leading UK hospice serving Surrey, south west London and Middlesex. Our mission is to provide high quality, compassionate palliative and end of life care, when and where it is needed. Nearly 3,000 patients are referred to us each year for care and support, the majority of whom are coping with severe symptoms and the challenge of complex or multiple conditions.
On our busy in-patient unit we have capacity to care for up to 24 patients. The unit is dynamic and progressive, providing symptom control, respite and end-of-life care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses and at different stages of their disease trajectory.
Working alongside other members of the hospice multi-professional team, our nurses take pride in delivering care of an extremely high standard with a ‘can do’ attitude. As a new member of our nursing team you will be fully supported, whilst gaining essential knowledge and skills in specialist palliative care in a challenging but uplifting environment. You will also have the opportunity to gain an extensive range of generic clinical nursing skills.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who have excellent care values, a strong sense of team spirit and a passion for delivering high quality, compassionate patient and family focused care.
Health care assistants should possess a good standard of general education and have some experience of delivering nursing care, preferably either on a ward, in the Community or care home.
