BANK HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Salary: Band 2 £19,409 – £22,136 per annum inclusive

We are looking for full-time and Bank Healthcare Assistants, to join our established nursing teams.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of nursing care to palliative care patients and for maintaining a homely, supportive and stimulating in-patient environment in order to improve or sustain the patients’ quality of life. The post holder will also assist our trained nurses in all aspects of basic nursing care.

Applicants must be kind, patient, very caring and also motivated and enthusiastic and be prepared to work in an environment where patients may be at the end of life. All applicants must be flexible and agreeable to work on an internal rotation of early, late and night shifts.

Experience of working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage to applicants for this post.
