The Myton Hospices provide high quality specialist palliative and end of life care for people in Coventry and South Warwickshire, and we are striving to reach even more of those who need us. This means that we are doing all we can to support our clinical staff and to ensure that they continue to be able to meet the needs of our increasing numbers of patients, particularly those with the most complex problems. We now seek a talented and competent Practice Development Facilitator/CNS for Education to help us deliver our strategic plan for internal and external education and to be a strong and positive role model within the organisation, continually promoting evidence based practice.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced palliative care nurse to be directly involved with influencing the high quality standards, and evidenced based care delivered at Myton. The successful applicant will be a strong team player, and of course enjoy teaching, mentoring and supporting staff. They will be good communicators, and will be able to demonstrate recent relevant professional and personal development.
Applicants must be 1st level Registered Nurses with significant palliative nursing experience, and be educated to degree level, but ideally to Master’s level. Due to the requirement for cross site travel, they must also be a car owner/driver.
