Dear colleagues,
On 16 April, International Stress Awareness Day, we invite you to our webinar ‘Meaningful Activities and Emotional Support’, which focuses on the non-medical aspects of palliative care.
The session will be led by PACED staff member Felix Pinto-Baquerizo, an expert with extensive experience in coordinating non-medical activities at the First Moscow Hospice. We will explore the idea of meaningful activities and why they should be an essential part of palliative care. We will also examine proven formats—ranging from art practices to animal-assisted therapy—and discuss important topics such as boundaries and safety, including infection control, ward access, and safeguarding patient privacy.
This webinar will appeal to palliative care managers, doctors, nurses, and volunteer coordinators—anyone looking to deliver genuinely compassionate and professional care.
