Pallium India’s Trivandrum Institute of Palliative Sciences (TIPS) has been redesignated yet again, for the fourth time, as a WHO (World Health Organisation) Collaborating Center for Training and Policy on Access to Pain Relief for South-East Asia Region (SEAR) countries.
TIPS was provided this recognition for the first time in February 2012. The terms of reference and activities are thereafter decided at the time of redesignation every four years. It has been known that this process of redesignation is a rigorous one which is not only dependent on past records but also on the current health of the organisation.
The team at TIPS shares that Ms Smriti Rana (Head, Strategic Programs and Partnerships, Pallium India) has been now appointed as the Head of the collaborating center from this year.
Congratulations Team TIPS and Ms Smriti Rana! We wish you greater heights.
