The annual games evening is organised and hosted by young adults who are service users at the hospice, supported by volunteers from Blackrock.

There was also an opportunity to see three time world champion Nikki Lauda’s first F1 car which had been lent to the hospice thanks to COYS auction house.

Screen stars Jim Carter and Imelda Staunton, who are patrons of Richard House, also came along.

Supporters from Barclays, Blackrock, Majedie Asset Management, Squire Patton Boggs, Weightmans, Tate & Lyle, Hitachi Consulting, Miller Insurance Services enjoyed the evening. Simon Greener from Hitachi Consulting said: “It’s genuinely inspiring to see the hospice in action. An event like this is great, and you can see how passionate everyone involved is, which is amazing.”

Young adult Murad Shaikh said: “Every Richard House event I come to is always a pleasure to be part of I always have fun and it’s nice to see children who are my age and are part of the Young Adults Group and see them happy. It makes me emotional.”

Carla Rivero, corporate partnerships executive at Richard House said: “The evening was a fantastic opportunity for people who support the hospice to meet service users and for the young adults to lead the way and put on a real show!”
