The conference of the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) is held every two years and brings together people involved in hospice and palliative care to share news, knowledge and new developments.
For 2015, the conference is being hosted by the Hospice Foundation of Taiwan, which has chosen the theme ‘Transforming Palliative Care’, to reflect the many changes taking place in palliative care across the region.
In 2013 at the Asia Pacific Hospice Conference in Bangkok, two special interest groups were created – one to link people interested in palliative care for children, and one for the Pacific Islands where palliative care is just starting. This time, the conference organisers hope to forge more links with colleagues in China where much has been happening, but as yet little linked to the rest of the world.
Online registration for the conference will open tomorrow (25 July) and abstract submission is now open.
Further information about the conference and submitting abstracts is available on the conference website.
