The congress is taking place in Lleida, Spain, from 5 to 7 June 2014.
The research congress, which is held every two years, is an opportunity for palliative care researchers from around the world to meet and discuss the latest research in the field.
At the last congress in Trondheim in 2012, 1172 participants from 49 countries attended.
Over 800 abstracts have been received for next years congress. They are currently being reviewed and notifications regarding acceptance of submitted abstracts will be emailed to the presenters in January.
The deadline for early bird booking with discounted fees is 1 March 2014.
Nominate candidates for Early Researcher Award
Every year the EAPC recognises the efforts of novice researchers by awarding an Early Researcher Award at the congress.
Candidates should be at the beginning of a research career and hold a higher degree, PhD or equivalent.
The deadline for nominations is 30 November 2013 and candidates can either apply themselves or be nominated by supervisor or similar.
The winner of the Early Researcher Award will be invited to give a plenary lecture at the research congress in Lleida.
