Sunflowers welcome in the summer, and our annual Sunflower Memories Appeal is a beautiful way of celebrating happy memories. 
Sunflowers are known as happy flowers – and that’s exactly why we have chosen them for our summer appeal – to help you to remember the good times spent with those whose memory you cherish.
Each beautiful imitation sunflower will be planted at the Hospice alongside a plaque with the name of the person you are remembering. They will be on display from 1st- 30th June. You can then take yours home as a special keepsake if you would like to from the 3rd July. We have once again created an online sunflower garden where you can view all of the dedications.
When you dedicate a sunflower in memory of a loved one, you’ll be helping us reach more families who need us.

“Lee never made it to St Cuthberts, but the appointment for therapeutic sessions assessment was in the calendar. I know he would have benefited hugely from the support on offer from the Hospice as part of his journey.
We managed to get married two days before he died, and sunflowers and forget me nots were our flowers of choice.”
